WDCEP is partnering with the Washington Business Journal to host an exclusive tour of some of DC’s industrial businesses. Here are some of the highlights you won’t want to miss.

Behind the Scenes Access  

Ever wonder how your favorite cookies or gin get made? This tour will take you behind the scenes of Washington DC’s major industrial neighborhoods and show you an inside look at how products in DC get made.  You’ll visit the largest region of industrial activity in the city and explore some of DC’s top local maker sites.  Expect to see production in action and learn the nuts and bolts of making products in DC.

Delicious Local Bites

No tour of local maker spaces would be compete without a taste of local products. Our tour wraps up with lunch provided by Mason Dixie Biscuit Company  and treats by Whisked! Bakery. A perfect way to experience the highlights of the DC food industry.

On the tour you will be visiting a handful of companies including Mason Dixie Biscuit Co, Union Market, and One Eight Distilling, for tours, tastings, and conversations.
